Choosing Life – a tribute performance to the ZAKA organization and its devoted volunteers, marking 100 years of Shlomo Carlebach, was held on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Hangar 11, Tel Aviv.
The event included the following artists: Benny Friedman, Yitzchak Meir Helfgot, Berry Sakharof, Shmuel and Avraham Tal.
The Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra and other musicians joined together under the baton of conductor Matan Yona for an uplifting, unique, and exciting evening – marking the 100th birthday of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach whose songs, melodies, and stories (told by actor Amos Tamam), accompanied and still accompany the Jewish nation during times of peace and war, with strong Jewish feelings.
The concert series was initiated and produced by Itschak Roshi, who has many years of experience in the field of very large events, and who is responsible for countless musical successes, as both a producer, and as an experienced artist representative.
